“Still thinking about lunch on Wednesday at Mess Restaurant. A total gem deep in the Wiltshire countryside and an art gallery to wander through before or after to fantasise about what you might buy … the star of show was this cold pea soup with butter lettuce, radishes and goats cheese – sublime.”
Sue Quinn, food writer for BBC, Telegraph, Delicious Magazine, Sunday Times

“Everyone at Messums was so welcoming, thank you. And the lime and cashew hummus blew me away – genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever eaten and so beautiful.”
Jenny Tregoning, Stylist Magazine
“The lunch at Messums was fantastic. The cashew hummus and my pea soup were brilliant and the elderflower and strawberry dessert was absolutely divine. As was the baked st Marcellin. Brilliant food. Such a special place.”
