Workshop with Roseanna Anderson – Working with Leonora

Roseanna invited the dancers to join her in transforming the surrealist paintings of Leonora Carrington into short, choreographic works. Drawing on sound, movement and design, the workshop was a space to experiment, play and collaborate with others to create original artistic responses to Carrington’s rich, visual world. Roseanna led a contemporary dance-based physical warm up, followed by a series of practical, creative tasks that stemmed from the research and development for her new work.

Roseanna Anderson is a dancer, choreographer and director, working as an independent artist and co-director of Impermanence. In 2022, she performed in the production of Dr. Semmelweis, starring Mark Rylance.

Workshop with AOmaon Collectif – Gravity of Colours

In this workshop, the young dancers connected to their inner power through groove and body weight, building energy through improvisation tasks and creative movement phrases. By navigating through imagination and different movement intensity, they explored the different colours of dance. We invited every mover and curious mind to take risks and find new patterns in their body language.

AOmaon Collectif is created by two young French artists : Olivia Grassot and Adélie Lavail. It all began during their training at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance where they developed their artistic identity and found a common interest in choreography to generate their own creative language.
