The inaugural Messums Dance Film Festival offers our audiences an exciting cross-section of the emerging dance artists creating dance on camera today – exploring the synergy between the movement of the dancer and the movement of the camera.

Spread across the 3 categories of Dance Shorts, Experimental Dance Films and Narrative works, our judges’ selections will be screened in our beautiful barn setting, just a stone’s throw from the Messums Café and Restaurant.

Designed to be enjoyed by the whole family, join us for a day of dance like you’ve never seen before, meet some of those creatives behind the works on screen, and celebrate our very first winner of the Messums Dance Film Prize.
