ONE DAY SCULPTURE COURSES – Series of sculpture courses inspired by the exhibition programme at Messums Wiltshire
Influenced by the illusions evoked by Greg Payce’s ceramics which employ optical illusions, tutor Finn Bush will guide you to create slab built figurative forms. Inspired by the spaces in between objects, you will be encouraged to form an image of the human shape. In this course, you will be making standing hollow forms with a different take on the traditional slab building technique. You will be shown how to use flowing lines and to apply construction methods that result in a lyrical and fluid version of a sculpted human form.
