Wednesday evening untutored class. Studio under supervision of Edward Scott
Guided pottery sessions for experienced pottery students. These sessions are for Messums Creative regular and experienced students*
Dates: 11 January – 22 March (half term: 15 February)
Cost: £22 per session
This class is intended for those ceramics and pottery students who are already experienced Messums Creative makers and who have previously been attending or who are currently a member of our tutored classes. These sessions are not tutored, they are a perfect opportunity for our students to practice and build on their existing skills largely by themselves.
*Please note whilst these sessions will be supervised by Edward Scott, they will not be actively tutored.
Edward Scott is a Salisbury-based young artist. Inspired by the ineffable aspects of being and a fascination with materiality, Edward explores his subject matter through a range of mediums and processes such as oil painting, printmaking, and collage. After graduating from Falmouth University with a first class degree in Fine Art, Edward worked at Salisbury Arts Centre where he trained under Mirka Golden-Hann and developed a keen interest in ceramic practice. Edward is excited to share his knowledge and experience as a painter-printmaker whilst continuing to explore and develop a painterly approach to ceramic practice.
