Guided pottery sessions for experienced pottery students. These sessions are for Messums Creative regular and experienced students*
with guidance from Mirka Golden-Hann.

Dates: 23 September – 2 December (half term: 28 October)
Times: 2pm – 5pm
Cost: £200

This class is intended for those ceramics and pottery students who are already experienced Messums Creative makers and who have previously been attending or who are currently a member of our tutored classes. These sessions are not tutored, they are a perfect opportunity for our students to practice and build on their existing skills largely by themselves.

*Please note whilst these sessions will be supervised by Mirka Golden-Hann they will not be actively tutored.

Mirka Golden-Hann is a ceramic artist and teacher with over 20 years’ experience of running a pottery studio. After graduating from the University of Westminster, Harrow Ceramics in 1999 she set up her first workshop and built a salt-kiln. After gaining her MA Ceramics at Bath Spa in 2009 she became Resident Artist at Salisbury Arts Centre (Wiltshire Creative) where she runs a busy teaching pottery and visual arts programme.

Bring: apron, pencil, notebook, and if you wish, pots for glaze trouble-shooting.
