Age – this is a course for adults or for older teens who come accompanied by a paying adult.
This course offers the opportunity to make a painting from the beginning.
On Saturday morning cabinet maker James Morton-Evans will join Edward Scott to teach the participant to make their own wooden frame, onto which their canvas will be stretched and primed ready for painted the following day. On Saturday afternoon the group will discuss and draw the composition of the painting, and then Sunday will be dedicated to the painting. We will be using your sketchbooks or photos on your phone/camera as a source of inspiration.
Materials: – Wood, canvas, and primer paint will be supplied. You are welcome to bring your own paints, or you can use the selection of studio watercolour paints which will be supplied.
