Clay tutor Finn Bush is experienced in working both in education and the decorative arts practice. Ceramics has been Fins major means for expression right from earliest childhood attempts in his parents studio and during his creative career he developed a direct ‘hands on’ attitude to the use of materials and expanded his knowledge mainly on a ‘trial and error’ basis. He studied painting at art school but he believes in the freedom of vision offered by the material knowledge. Through his teaching Finn seeks to bring character and sense of freedom to the materials he uses.
