Elizabeth Frink’s Goggle heads and noble faces are the inspiration for clay sculpture that explores and plays with the mysteries of looking and seeing. This is a workshop where you will have the guidance to create a portrait in clay and the encouragement to develop a unique and reflective vision of the human face. The polished bronze of the Goggles of Frink’s Goggle heads give us permission to go anywhere with our imaginings. In this workshop you can imprint your dreams, ideas and inspirations into the medium of clay.
Our Saturday sessions are designed for children to come together with their grownups to create together and to learn new skills. In these fun and creativity packed sessions a number of different tutors will bring an array of approaches to clay work and ceramics. Whether you are an aspiring sculptor or product designer, whether you want to model clay or throw on the potters wheel these sessions are for you.
The only thing we will insist upon is that you get messy!
