Warm up for our Festival of the Spoken Word with one of the country’s greatest orators. Listen to Rupert Everett discuss his recently released film which he has written, directed and stars in followed by a screening at 6pm and supper in our Mess Restaurant with a menu designed especially for the occasion by our head chef Sunny Sin.  Rupert will be joining us for supper and spaces are limited so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Named after a collection of short stories for children written by Oscar Wilde first published in May 1888, The Happy Prince chronicles Wilde’s last years of life exiled in Paris after his very public disgrace and imprisonment for ‘gross indecency’ in 1895. The film premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and was shown at the 2018 BFI Flare: London LGBT Film Festival.
