Marioni burst onto the international glass scene aged nineteen, becoming famous for his sophisticated glass objects. Marioni has training in Venetian glassblowing techniques with some of the greatest masters in contemporary glass. The son of American studio glass pioneer Paul Marioni, Dante was raised in a family of artists, one that included two well-known uncles: painter Joseph Marioni and conceptual artist Tom Marioni.
